I've always loved music, but have often come at particular genres by odd routes and at strange times....

Late pre teens, my parents took me to classical concerts and I sang Latin in Rochester Cathedral with my school. Just before my 13th birthday I went to the Hebrides and found that people could make their own music in ceildhs and houses with guitars, whistles and flutes, with biscuit tins, table tops and the arms of a sofa.

I was introduced to Simon & Garfunkel, then Genesis and along the way some Student Nurses & a Swedish Au Pair taught me about The Dark Side Of The Moon.....

So my favourite Top 10 has literally thousands of tracks, from major Rock Acts and Cathedral Organs to a local Band practising in a garden shed, and from Orchestras to the guy in a bar with a guitar - and I'm very happy with that......

Unlike too many radio stations, KCR doesn't have official Playlists but lets Presenters play good music of our choice - in a week just about everything is there somewhere. I'm very happy with that as well. It makes for good listening. Enjoy!!!! I do.
